[. . . ] In that case restricted mode is enforced and the application decides to provide or block access to a web address based on several conditions: if the web page being accessed matches the lists of allowed (see page 125) or blocked (see page 126) addresses; if the web page is included in any of the blocked categories. To enable Parental Control restrictions for the Child or Teenager profile, perform the following steps: 1. Open the main application window and click the Settings link in the top part of the window. In the window that will open, in the Protection section select the Parental Control component. Click the Settings button for the component you have selected. Click the Settings button on the tab corresponding to the profile that you wish to edit. In the Profile settings window that will open, on the Restrictions tab, select one of the following options: For browsing allow only web-sites from the list of allowed web addresses ­ if you need to allow access to specified web pages only; Set restrictions ­ if you need to enable restricted mode. CREATING THE LIST OF ALLOWED WEB ADDRESSES You can allow access to certain web sites for the Child and Teenager profiles. To do that, the addresses of those sites should be added to the list of allowed web locations. If access to specified web addresses only is enabled (the For browsing allow only web-sites from the list of allowed web addresses option is selected), access to any website not included in the list of allowed web addresses will be blocked. If restricted mode is enabled (the Set restrictions option is selected), access to web resources can be restricted based on their individual categories. You can also explicitly restrict access to certain web resources. To do so, the addresses of such websites should be added to the list of blocked addresses. To exclude an address or a mask from the list without deleting it, uncheck the box next to the entry in the list. CREATING THE LIST OF BLOCKED WEB ADDRESSES When running in restricted mode, Parental Control (if the Use specified restrictions option is selected) limits access to web resources, based on their association with certain categories (see section "Selecting the categories of blocked web addresses" on page 128). You can explicitly restrict access to certain web resources. To do that, such web sites should be added to the list of blocked web addresses. To add a new address or mask to the list of blocked web addresses: 1. Open the main application window and in the top part click the Settings link. In the window that will open, in the Protection section select the Parental Control component. Click the Settings button for the component you have selected. Click the Settings button on the tab corresponding to the profile that you wish to edit. In the Profile settings window that will open, on the Restrictions tab, click the List button.
